Meet Garrett
I grew up on a farm near McHenry, North Dakota, and that upbringing taught me to notice things - good light, a genuine laugh, the way a field looks just before a storm rolls in.
Photography found me early. My dad had a Pentax K1000 film camera that I was fascinated by from the start. I went on to study photography through 4-H and two years of college coursework, but honestly the passion came long before the training.
These days I'm based in Maddock with three kids of my own, which means I know exactly what it's like to wrangle a family in front of a camera. I keep my sessions relaxed, flexible, and real - because the best photos happen when nobody's trying too hard.
